Always a fan favorite with his laid-back sound, John Mayer turned up at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (February 13).

The “Why Georgia?” crooner looked handsome as he sauntered through the Staples Center arrivals area before heading inside for the annual musical showcase.

Racking up multiple nominations, John Mayer is up for Best pop vocal album for "Battle Studies" while competing against Justin Bieberm Susan Boyle, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

He's also in the running for Best male pop vocal performance while facing off against Michael Buble, Michael Jackson, Adam Lambert and Bruno Mars.

John Mayer Needs An Image Makeover

I’m not sure if John Mayer’s high profile romances with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston have anything to do with it, or maybe it’s more the whole thing with Taylor Swift because she’s so young. But fans are not at all happy with John and his heart-breaker ways.

“Girls came up and yelled at him, saying he was a horrible person.”
“Girls asked how he could treat women the way he did. People would tell him exactly what they thought of him.”

And while I don’t know if John has realized that his womanizing is a problem, he wants to change. Well, he at least wants to change how he’s viewed in the public eye.

He’s looking for “a new team to manage his image,” adds the insider. “He wants to change people’s perspective on him.”

The media has a short memory. If he could keep his relationships out of the press for once, maybe he wouldn’t have this problem.

John Mayer might be selling his current LA home for a loss, but that doesn’t seem to be affecting him! The singer has reportedly leased a new $8 million Mediterranean mansion with 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and a recording studio just outside of L.A.!


Why does one person need 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms?! Mayer also has a $2.1 million home in New York. All of a sudden I wish I could sing! Mayer is asking $1.3 million for his LA Home, which is less than the reported $1.75 million that he paid in 2006. I guess that the singing star is doing ok despite the recession!

So if anyone is in the market for a home in L.A., looks like you can get a good deal!

It’s no secret that John Mayer has a bit of a reputation for being a ladies’ man, but his latest conquest takes him into the realm of married women.

Rumor has it that the “Waiting on the World to Change” singer set his sights on Giada De Laurentiis, who is married to Anthropologie designer Todd Thompson and has a two-year-old daughter with him.


Last month, Mayer and De Laurentiis were rumored to be flirting and canoodling at the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel. An eyewitness claimed, “John had one hand on the small of her back. They looked like two people who were going to go home.”

But Giada says it’s all false. “I was at the Standard that night but I didn’t see him. I’ve met him and he’s a great guy, but I just like his music. That’s all.”

John Mayer no longer on Twitter

John Mayer Quits Twitter! 

The social networking site, Twitter, has racked up another casualty. This time it's loose-lipped John Mayer.

John Mayer has made it official. The singer will no longer be a member of Twitter.

The singer and fast-fingered guitarist is known for using Twitter to address his remorse or start a fight or two. Now, Mayer is putting his foot down. A rep for John Mayer confirmed the singer is closing his account.

John Mayer's following on Twitter was not too shabby. He reportedly garnered more than 3.7 million "friends" eager to see his updates.

Mayer is allegedly heading back to the recording studio, but fear not, he plans to use other means of communication to stay in touch. His big mouth has caused him trouble in the past and so has Twitter, but he does plan to still use his written blog to reach out to fans.

John Mayer is joining the distinct "Quitters of Twitter" club that includes Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and LeAnn Rimes. RIP, John Mayer's Twitter account. You will be missed.  (Kristin Watson)
