The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Runway Show

The Theatre at Lincoln Center was abuzz with celebrity beauties last night (February 9) as The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Runway Show took the place over as part of Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week.

Famous babes like Audrina Patridge, Natasha Bedingfield, and Julianne Hough all showed off red dresses designed by various top name labels.

Denise Richards, Taraji P Henson, and Dita Von Teese also showed up to show off their crimson creations.

Not one to be left out, Matthew McConaughey took his lovely lady Camila Alves to the gig as well.

The Heart Truth event is sponsored by Swarovski - with the prestigious brand donating $310,000 to the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health in an effort to support women’s heart health education and research.

Celebrity Pictures Dita Von Teese On the Red Carpet

Celebrity Pictures Dita Von Teese On the Red Carpet

Nobody does glam quite like Dita Von Teese. She really does seem like she’s from another era somehow. Here she is launching her Limited Edition Set “My Private Cointreau Coffret” at Fred Segal in West Hollywood. I’m not totally sure what exactly it is that she’s launching, but from the looks of it, I’d say, some kind of drink. In case you’re wondering, a coffret is a gift set. And yes, I had to look that up too :)

You know, the only thing about Dita’s look here that I really don’t care for, are the giant bangs. I get that she’s throwing it back, but does the front of her hairstyle have to be so…Marge Simpson? Do you like this look just because it’s Dita? Or even on her would you have preferred to see something else?

Dita Von Teese: Cointreau Coffret Chick

As a global ambassador for Cointreau, Dita Von Teese posed for a promotional photo shoot for the triple sec liqueur company in London on Thursday (October 21).

The burlesque beauty is in the midst of launching the limited edition “My Private Cointreau Coffret” and will be making an appearance at Selfridges in London, England tomorrow, October 22.

Taking to Twitter in order to keep her fans and followers up-to-date, Dita recently wrote, “Just arrived in London to launch my Cointreau Coffet at Selfridges tomorrow. You can see the image of the box on my Twitter main page!”

Ahead of promotional duties today, Von Teese tweeted, “I think I just used an entire can of hairspray to achieve this morning's hairdo.”  (Hollywood Gossip)

Dita Von Teese And Janet Jackson Attend The John Galliano Show In Paris

Dita Von Teese And Janet Jackson Attend The John Galliano Show In Paris

Dita Von Teese looks a bit toned down in this set, doesn’t she? Here she is arriving to the John Galliano Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 runway show during Paris Fashion Week at Opera Comique in France. Also in attendance was Janet Jackson who naturally brought along Wissam Al Mana – those two are inseparable as of late!

Do you feel “ready to wear’ collections are really ‘ready to wear’? They STILL typically seem over the top to me!  I added two outfits from the show in the thumbnails below. Click to enlarge and let me know what you think.

Love It Or Hate It: Dita Von Teese

Dita Von Teese
Here's Dita Von Teese arriving to perform her 'Be Controversial' burlesque show at the Australian Technology Business Park in Sydney, Australia. The star is the Cointreau Global Brand Ambassador and never disappoints in the wardrobe department.

Everything is vintage. Everything is a throw back. Everything is interesting and never boring.
What do you think about the plunging neckline of this dress? How about the detail? Something you would wear? Something you like to see on Dita?
