Gaga's Bodyguard 'Clashes With Snapper'

A bodyguard working for LADY GAGA has been accusing of clashing with a photographer in Boston, Massachusetts earlier this week (beg28Jun10).

The Poker Face hitmaker has been in the city with her Monster Ball tour and 16-year-old cameraman Carl Wu was attempting to take pictures of the singer outside a hotel when he was allegedly assaulted by a member of Gaga's security team.

Wu alleges the unnamed bodyguard pushed him out of the way and forcefully shoved him to the ground.
He tells the Boston Herald newspaper, "I was being polite and respectful. But this bodyguard was yelling at me and shoved me to the ground. (My) lip was busted."

Wu reported the incident to the police and cops later arrived at the Ritz-Carlton hotel to interview a security guard.

In the police report, obtained by the publication, a bodyguard alleges Wu "began swearing at him and attempted to distract him by repeatedly flash(ing) him in the face with the flash from his camera. As he escorted (the) photographer (away the) photographer('s) aggressive behaviour turned physical. He stated that he placed (the) photographer on the ground until his client was escorted out of the area by his partner."

No charges have been filed over the incident.

Diaz Took Knight And Day Role To Get Over Grief

CAMERON DIAZ jumped at the chance to appear alongside TOM CRUISE in KNIGHT AND DAY - because she wanted to have "some fun" following the death of her father two years ago (08).

The Charlie's Angels star was left devastated when her dad Emilio died in 2008 while she was filming My Sister's Keeper, about a girl who suffers from leukaemia.

Diaz was relieved when she was offered her latest film role with her Vanilla Sky co-star, because she knew the action adventure would help her overcome her sadness.

She says, "I'd spent a year in grief with my family and I just wanted some fun and to go on a great adventure. I wanted to spend some time just having a laugh without it being something heavy."

Kylie Minogue's Cared-For Costumes

Kylie Minogue is amazed at how well her stage costumes are cared for now she has donated them to a museum.

Kylie Minogue thinks her clothes get treated better than she does.

The 42-year-old singer donated several of her stage costumes - including the iconic gold hot pants she donned in the video for her 2000 single 'Spinning Around' - to Melbourne's Performing Arts Museum in Australia and is amazed at how well the garments are cared for.

She said: "The gold hot pants are locked behind high security at the performing arts museum in Melbourne, where I've donated all my show costumes.

"The hot pants are not on display right now though, they're in storage in a temperature-controlled room. I'm not making this up.

"They went on tour - with some other outfits -and when they were displayed at the V&A museum in London they were behind a glass box. They're better treated than I am!"

The 'All the Lovers' singer admits she almost ran into trouble with museum curators when she started rearranging one of the displays.

She explained in an interview with BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills: "Before the first exhibition, there are ladies running around in white gloves putting everything in place.

"I went in to look at the display the day before they opened to the public and I was looking at this big crow feather headpiece. It wasn't sitting right on the mannequin so I moved it and the assistants were just there quivering at me.

"I still regard them as if they were mine so I was just manhandling them."

If there is no Christmas, then this TRAVESTY of an idea won't have to happen!
Sources say that Kate Gosselin, having already destroyed the art of dance, is now looking to butcher your favorite holiday songs with a Christmas CD!

Record execs claim that Kate is pitching the CD around town, with songs sung by herself and all her children. Apparently, she "sees herself as a modern day Maria from 'The Sound of Music,' except this time the family singers won't be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins."

Somewhere, Rogers and Hammerstein hate themselves for writing the Sound of Music just because of this analogy.

A friend of Kate reminds skeptics that Kate sees herself as a "brand" and she is going to milk that for all it's worth, no matter how big of a fool she comes off as!

She's got eight mouths to feed after all! (And a wardrobe to maintain!)

Our ears are bleeding and we haven't even heard her sing a note yet. They'll be stocking this next to Hung For The Holidays, Featuring William Hung and Another Rosie Christmas for sure.

And by stocking, we mean tossing in the bargain bin.

Britney's ex-bodyguard fears for her kids

A disgruntled ex-employee once in charge of protecting Britney Spears is purportedly more concerned about the well-being of the pop star’s two sons (Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3) after seeing Spears’ distressing behind-the-scenes behavior.

According to The Sun, former police officer and A-list bodyguard Fernando Flores contacted the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services to report for what he believed were abusive events in the Spears home.

“(Fernando) claims the first really shocking incident was when (Britney) came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt,” an insider recalled. “He handed it over but then followed her into the main house and claims he witnessed the alleged incident.”

In that case, Flores was said to have seen the 28-year-old spank one of her young sons with the belt. At another time, Flores allegedly spied Spears feeding the boys foods they’re known to be allergic to. Both occurrences led Flores to believe Spears couldn’t “be trusted around her boys,” said the insider.

But it seems none of the most recent allegations factored into Flores decision to quit working for Spears. An earlier report revealed he left his post after being sexually harassed by the singer, a claim those close to Spears found laughable .

Who is the real Lindsay Lohan?

Casting Lindsay Lohan, and having her promote her new role in Cannes — where she claimed her passport was stolen, causing her to miss a mandatory court date — helped secure financing for "Inferno," said director Matthew Wilder.

Actress seeks to overcome hot-mess image with new role, clothing line

LOS ANGELES — There's the Lindsay Lohan we all know: the one with two DUIs and repeat stints in rehab; the one in the tabloids, falling into a cactus and partying it up in Cannes when she should be in court; the one with a reputation so bad that reality star Tila Tequila once declared, "I must not be another Lindsay Lohan where I just flush everything I worked so hard for down the toilet for nothing."

Then there's another Lindsay: the one her mother defends as a normal young woman coming of age in Hollywood; the one her business partners in the fashion world describe as prompt, professional and focused as she prepares to launch a 280-piece collection; the one Robert Rodriguez cast in his upcoming movie "Machete"; and the one taking on a role her peers declined — that of porn legend Linda Lovelace in a film that has Hollywood abuzz.

So which one is the real Lindsay Lohan? And can the one who earned accolades as a young star and worked alongside Meryl Streep overcome her hot-mess persona?

The next chapter for each Lindsay has already begun. She's due in court July 6 for a hearing to determine if she violated her probation on those drunk-driving charges — and faces jail time if she did.

But as soon as she's clear of her legal troubles, she can start work on "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," a gritty, violent tale about porn, prostitution and domestic violence that stands to be the make-it-or-break-it role of Lohan's career.

Writer-director Matthew Wilder has total faith in his star, despite ample criticism from his peers over his choice. Though some have said she won't make it through the monthlong shoot, he's confident she's game for long days on set and his script's emotionally challenging, sometimes shocking material. He says she's got the chops and the depth to embody Lovelace, a woman who claims she was forced into prostitution and porn by her violent husband and once made a beastiality film with a dog.

A comeback in 'Inferno'?

Casting Lohan, and having her promote her new role in Cannes — where she claimed her passport was stolen, causing her to miss a mandatory court date — helped secure financing for "Inferno," Wilder says. And he thinks her performance in his movie could turn Hollywood's tides in her favor.

Lindsay Lohan, left, listens to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley during a hearing in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Monday, May 24. She will be back in court on Tuesday, July 6.

"Just because right now there's all this negative (stuff) being spewed about her, there's this core of worth, personally and creatively," he says of the 24-year-old actress. "When you put that out in front of people, that stands up."

Then there's her fashion brand, 6126. What began as a line of leggings has been reborn as a complete collection of sexy, sparkly pieces perfect for the club-hopping set. The first items are set to ship out at the end of the month to stores like Kitson and Neiman Marcus.

Lohan guided the design team, picked out all the fabrics and colors, and tried on hundreds of samples herself to get the look and fit just right.

She's also developing two handbag lines, and there are plans for shoes and cosmetics to follow as 6126 becomes "a complete lifestyle brand," says her business partner, Kristi Kaylor.

As far as Kaylor is concerned, Lohan is "a total pro." She knows the actress as a "genius designer" — responsive, engaged and serious about building a brand.

"She blows me away with her creativity," Kaylor says. "I wish people could see the side of Lindsay that we do."

The Lindsay she sees is as comfortable at marketing meetings as she is in the front row of a high-profile fashion show. She's on time to her appointments, quick to respond to e-mails and deeply involved in all aspects of her business. Kaylor sees her as a budding entrepreneur.

Richard Luna, who's been making purses for 25 years and is working with Lohan on her lines, describes her as "a very smart, sharp gal (with) a brand-development path that's going to last several years."

But if Lohan is so together, how come it often looks like she's falling apart?

Doing her own PR — 140 characters at a time

The press picks on her, says Kaylor, who talks with Lohan almost daily. Lots of girls trip and fall when wearing high heels, she says. Lots of 20-somethings enjoy the Hollywood club scene.

Lohan doesn't seem too interested these days in having professionals help shape her public image. She's suspended her relationship with publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick. And her manager, Jason Weinberg, ignored a reporter's repeated messages asking him to defend his client.

Instead, the actress prefers handling her own PR — 140 characters at a time. Active on Twitter (often late at night), she defends herself against tabloid rumors and calls out those she thinks are trying to bring her down.

"Samantha Ronson spit in my face," she posted early one morning about her former girlfriend. "This is all because of a FALSE accusation by tabloids & paparazzi," she wrote when her alcohol-monitoring anklet went off last month. "I was given the wrong call time-now I know on purpose...it was a set-up," she posted after apparently missing a photo shoot. "Thank goodness for Twitter," she writes. "The truth can be stated!!!"

Perez Hilton, who refers to the starlet as "Lindsanity" and "LOLhan" on his popular celebrity blog, says the actress has lived such a drama-filled life — from a child star whose parents argued in the press to her own grown-up problems — that his readers just want to see what she'll do next.

"It's still interesting to see Lindsay misbehaving and acting like the same person she was in 2007," he says, adding that he has met her many times and finds her "likable."

He thinks the same readers who delight in her misbehavior are actually rooting for her to succeed.
For Wilder, her upcoming director, there's little question whether she will. Lindsay's troubles are a passing fad, he says, and that "three years from now, if you could fast-forward, it will be like, 'What was all that about?'"

Lindsay Lohan Gets Punched While Celebrating Her 24th Birthday

Lindsay Lohan rang in her 24th birthday Thursday night, and despite staying sober, the starlet managed to get herself involved in a little fight.
“A waitress just hit me – punched me for no reason,” Lindsay Tweeted in the early hours of Friday morning.
It all went down while Lilo sipped on Red Bulls to avoid her SCRAM device being set off at Hollywood club, Voyeur.
“The waitress has a history with Doug Reinhardt, and Lohan was hanging out with him,” an eyewitness tells Us Weekly. She was jealous, and out of nowhere, the waitress punched her in the face! Doug didn’t want any of part of it and went to the other side of the booth. Lohan ran out.”
The night continued on a downward spiral for Lohan who tried to escape the drama by heading to a nearby club, Rockstar House.
“Lohan showed up and cried because the waitress was there as well,” another source tells the mag. “Some birthday.”
Sounds like a not so happy birthday for Lilo!
